With some safety supervision of course. Enjoy :)
Ingredients:
- 115g unsalted butter, softened.
- 150g dark brown sugar
- 1 large egg at room temperature
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 140g rolled oats
- 125g all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1.5 cups chopped bsemi-sweet chocolate
Baking Instructions:
- Cream the softened butter and brown sugar together on medium speed until smooth
- Add the egg and mix on high until combined, about 1 minute
- Add the vanilla. set aside.
- In a separate bowl, toss the oats, flour, cinnamon, baking soda and salt together.
- Add the wet ingredients and mix on low until combined.
- Fold in the chopped chocolate
- Chill the dough for at least 30-60 minutes in the refrigerator.
- Preheat oven to 190c.
- Bake for 10-11 minutes. Remove from the oven and let cool on baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
